I went from 10.. to 9.. to 8:20

“I’m back in fitness mode.. This time last year I was running a mile in 6 minutes. When I hit the trails last week I saw how out of shape I was.. Out of breath after running a mile in 10 minutes.. Today I came in at 8 minutes 20 seconds. Any tips from you runners out there? Running knocks the pounds off the fastest-combined with a killer low carb diet. Theres something about what it does to you mentally. If I’m ever in a bad mood or cunfused about how to handle a situation, a good run ALWAYS does the trick for me. Whenever I start getting bored with it-I just freshen up my ipod music selection.. I can’t imagine running without my ipod. What songs do you suggest running to? Absolutely nothing laid back or slow.”
